Founded in 2003, and first bouting in 2004, Gotham Girls Roller Derby is New York City's only all-female, do-it-yourself (DIY), skater-operated roller derby league. The league is comprised of strong, diverse, and independent women from the world's biggest, baddest city.
As a 501c3 non-profit organization, GGRD is committed to fostering serious competition on a national and international level, developing amateur athletes for competition, and promoting the physical and mental strength and independent spirit of amateur female athletes.
The skaters work tirelessly - both on the track and off - to represent the greatest city in the world at home and on the road, competing at the highest levels of gameplay through the Women's Flat Track Derby Association.

Gotham Girls Roller Derby
Fundado en 2003, y el primero en competir en 2004, Gotham Girls Roller Derby es la única liga de roller derby de mujer joven de la ciudad de Nueva York. La liga está compuesta por mujeres fuertes, diversas e independientes de la ciudad más grande y más mala del mundo.
Como una organización sin fines de lucro 501c3, GGRD se compromete a fomentar una competencia seria a nivel nacional e internacional, desarrollar atletas aficionados para la competencia y promover la fortaleza física y mental y el espíritu independiente de las atletas amateurs.
Los patinadores trabajan incansablemente, tanto en la pista como fuera de ella, para representar a la ciudad más grande del mundo en casa y en la carretera, compitiendo en los niveles más altos de juego a través de la Asociación Femenina de Pista de Derby.
